Welcome to Lumiara. By using our service you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English because we're a product for families, not lawyers.
The Service
Lumiara generates personalised bedtime stories for children using AI. Stories are created based on information you provide — your child's name, age, and preferences.
Free Tier
You can create your first story without an account. Guest stories are stored for 30 days then automatically deleted. Free accounts can save up to 5 stories and create up to 3 child profiles.
Premium Subscription
Premium is £4.99/month or £39/year (saving ~35%). A 7-day free trial is available — no credit card required to start. After your trial, you'll be asked to add a payment method to continue premium features. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends with no charge.
Premium includes: unlimited stories, unlimited saved stories, AI narrator voices, and priority generation.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.
Cancellation and Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first premium charge if you are not satisfied — email hello@lumiara.live.
Your Content
The story preferences and child information you provide remain yours. The stories generated using your inputs are yours to keep, print, and share with your family.
We do not claim ownership of generated stories. You may not resell or commercially distribute stories generated by Lumiara.
Acceptable Use
Lumiara is designed for family bedtime use. You agree not to:
- —Attempt to generate harmful, inappropriate, or illegal content
- —Use the service to collect data about children beyond your own
- —Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service
- —Share account credentials with others
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Content Safety
We use automated safety systems to ensure all generated stories are age-appropriate. If a story reaches you that you feel is inappropriate, please report it immediately to hello@lumiara.live. We take these reports seriously.
Availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. AI generation occasionally takes longer than expected. We do not offer compensation for downtime.
Changes to the Service
We may update features, pricing, or these terms. We will always give you 30 days notice of material changes by email.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
